Anahita Medical Tourism
To create a visual identity for a medical tourism company.
Anahita Is a young brand started by an entrepreneur in the hope of providing a safe haven to those who are suffering or ill. The mission of the brand is to spread wellness through allopathic, ayurvedic and other medical practises present in the world today.
The final route we went with was inspired by Anahita the goddess of wellness herself. The smiling goddess depicted in this simple clean and graphic form generates the feeling of warmth and joy. The shape of the logo is inspired by a capsule / medicine and the arrows in her hair signify travel and the different directions and destinations that the brand would explore on its journey. We wanted the visuals to focus on the core values of the brand and bring forth the feeling of healing, safety, warmth, and health in a more modern way; than the traditional health/ medical zone.
This route was inspired by multiple things. The medical cross, the flower of life, medicine and the idea of welcoming someone. The logo form is artistic yet communicative of the medical zone. The flower of life is a sacred symbol of creation and is said to hold the secrets of the universe including good health. The logo combines the flower and the medical cross to form a geometric form which also looks like a rangoli which in India is created outside homes as a welcome sign. This also adds a positive side to the logo as often medical issues are looked at in a negative light. The corner coloured arrows represent travel and tourism and all the directions, avenues and locations available via the brand. The variety of the capsules represents all the options and types of medical routes that are available through the brand. Anahita is a brand that cares, loves, is trustworthy and thoughtful.This logo is a beautiful amalgamation of all of the messages and forms coming together to communicate that.

In the first one an abstract depiction of water and the rising sun is used. Water is an important symbol for Anahita and it also signifies the flow or life as well as another homage to travel and crossing oceans. The sun signifies a new dawn to health and wellness, and has the medical cross on it to communicate and give more prominence to what the company is about. The second option explored a more direct approach by using a stethoscope to communicate what the company is about.
While being artistic it is important to still communicate that the company is in the medical sector and this logo form achieves that without being in the same boring medical zone. It also captures the inspiration behind the brand name and gives the feeling of healing, safety and warmth.
