F.D. Mehta, the namesake for Framroze Deli, is the grandfather of the current owners. In the early and mid-20th century, Framroze set up a variety of food businesses in Mumbai, including a gourmet store, and pasta and chocolate factories; paving the way for his children, grandchildren, and now great-grandchildren, to continue his legacy with a dynamic food import company based in Mumbai’s historic Crawford Market since 1963.
The visuals & designs created for the brand were designed to help tie in the old school Deli vibe. It is a brand that loves their cheese, so making packaging for their fresh produce was a fun task for us. We also wanted to bring forth the communication in a seamless and simple way which is what the brand values.
